WELCOME

Thank you for taking the time to check out our website, my name is Clara Lingenfelter and I am the owner and visionary for Lingenfelter's Paws for Service, a Charity Based operation that helps People with disabilities and Dogs that are in shelters waiting for a second chance at a forever home, by matching them up and training them both to help make each of their lives better lived.

Service animals provide so much for our community, from Law Enforcement to Physical, Health and Mental Care Provider.  According to some statistics I have read there are approximately 61 million people with some form of disability, and only about 600,000 service dogs.  That is only 1% of the population.  According to another statistic there are 'ruff'ly (see what I did there?) 3.1 million dogs in shelters that need a second chance.

What if there was a way to help the people with disabilities and dogs kept up in a shelter?  Well that's what we do here at LPFS.  I help those with disabilities find a rescue dog, and then train that person to be able to train their new companion to be a great service to them.

If you yourself are in such a need, If you know someone that has such a need, If you just want to help make a difference in 2 lives or more, Please feel free to reach me from my Contact Page, and lets make a difference 4 paws and 2 hearts at a time.
